My very good friend Jared Potter just released his Bioshock fan film today! Would you kindly spread the word?
Check out these really cool articles about myself and the movie that came out a few weeks ago!

Working on the last shot of the film, and it’s a whopper. Almost 30 seconds long and it’s entirely CG.
Hopefully it’ll be a good way to end the movie. (and the screening)
I now have a finishing deadline for the film. By April 29th at 8:30 in the morning I can no longer work on my effects, they have to be finished.
Check out the timeline on the right and share in my anxiety as the numbers count backwards.
I’m working on maya fluid effects, trying to get some believable smoke and flame. This will eventually be used for the “exhaust” coming out of the spaceships as they blast off. I’ve been looking at alot of NASA footage for reference.
I’m rendering right now at a pace of 2 hours per 1 second of final image.
Sadly, that’s a quick pace compared to other shots I’ve rendered.
My movie got some music yesterday. I don’t want to give away too much of the surprise, so this video is really short, and the sound isn’t that great but you’ll get the idea.
It was such a great experience, and I have so many people to thank for this.
